PATRIK UVH with mist
In vegetable growing, pests sit on top of and underneath the leaves. Unlike in fruit and berry growing, a spray mist of specially developed water can be added to the UVH. On the leaves its droplets behave like crystals: combined with the light, they multiply the light beam, so we can also reach places the UVH alone cannot get to.
Infected and healthy plant

Our devices can be used against these pests and diseases
Glasshouse whitefly Trialeurodes vaporariorum
Small white flies that take off when the plant is touched. The larvae sit on the undersides of the leaves and excrete sticky honeydew on which sooty mould grows.
Tobacco whitefly Bemisia tabaci
Similar to the glasshouse whitefly, feeds on the undersides of the leaves and also transmits plant viruses that can badly damage tomatoes.
Two-spotted spider mite Tetranychus urticae
Fine pale speckles on the upper side of the leaves, which later turn yellow or bronze. Fine webbing on the underside. In warm, dry weather the mites multiply very fast.
Potato aphid Macrosiphum euphorbiae
Large green or pink aphids. The leaves turn yellow and curl, the aphids transmit viruses.
Powdery mildew Oidium neolycopersici
White, powdery coating first on the upper side of the leaves, later also on leaf stalks and stems. Infected leaves turn yellow and die, and the plant bears less fruit.
Grey mould Botrytis cinerea
Grey, dusty fungal growth on flowers and fruit. Infected fruit turns soft and rots, often before harvest. Wet weather and dense foliage strongly favour it.
