PATRIK UVH

With pears, leaves and fruit are openly exposed and easy for the light to reach. PATRIK UVH works with UVH light only and treats them directly. Against insects that fly up, PATRIK UVH with air can be used as well: it sucks them off and crushes them in the fan. Without chemicals.

Our devices can be used against these pests and diseases

  • Pear psylla Cacopsylla pyri

Small insects, 2–3 mm long. The nymphs sit in droplets of honeydew on shoots and leaves; sooty mould grows on it and leaves and fruit turn black.

  • Pear aphid Dysaphis pyri

Powdery colonies on young shoots. The leaves curl and growth stops.

  • Powdery mildew Podosphaera leucotricha

White, powdery coating on leaves, flowers and fruit. The leaves curl, infected fruit stays small and can no longer be sold.

  • European red mite Panonychus ulmi

Tiny red mites on the undersides of the leaves, with red eggs on buds and bark in winter. The leaves turn pale and bronze and drop early, the fruit stays smaller.
