PATRIK UVH

With apples, leaves and fruit are openly exposed and easy for the light to reach. PATRIK UVH works with UVH light only and treats them directly. Against insects that fly up, PATRIK UVH with air can be used as well: it sucks them off and crushes them in the fan. Without chemicals.

Our devices can be used against these pests and diseases

  • Apple powdery mildew Podosphaera leucotricha

    In spring a white coating on young shoots and leaves. The leaves stay narrow and curl, infected shoot tips wither.

  • European red mite Panonychus ulmi

    Tiny red mites on the undersides of the leaves, with red eggs on buds and bark in winter. The leaves turn pale and bronze and drop early, the fruit stays smaller.

  • Rosy apple aphid Dysaphis plantaginea

    Pinkish-grey aphids covered in a waxy powder. The leaves curl, the fruit stays small and misshapen.

  • Green apple aphid Aphis pomi

    Green aphids in dense colonies on shoot tips, especially on young trees. The leaves curl and shoot growth slows.
